About Burren Leadership Forum

Inspired by a shared interest in leadership/executive development/life-long learning and their determination to make a sustainable contribution to the ongoing development of The Burren and Ballyvaughan, Mary Hawkes Greene, President Burren College of Art, Martin Hawkes, businessman and personal development trainer, international aviation consultant Seán Braiden and Barry Walsh, change management consultant (www.peopledevelopment.ie) have come together to develop Burren Leadership Forum.

The Burren Dimension

The Burren setting is a unique ingredient in the Forum proposition.  Very simply, it is a transformational physical and cultural space.  This has to be experienced rather than described.  Accordingly, exposure to the built and natural heritage of the Burren with local facilitators is an integral part of the Forum experience for both participants and visiting speakers/lecturers.

The "Forum" concept denotes an openness to engaging with the leading edge learning programmes available internationally in the areas of leadership, creativity and purpose.  In keeping with the nature of the setting and The Forum’s ambition, programmes are experiential and transformative in nature rather than prescriptive ‘how-to-do’.
